Why are we different from other veterinary clinics?
We are different because we specialize in vaccinations for cats and dogs, with emphasis on puppy and kitten first year vaccinations, de-worming, fecal testing, microchipping and flea and tick prevention - yet affordable for any budget.
Shots For Pets is a mobile clinic, traveling to various pet stores, feed stores, boarding & grooming facilities, senior living facilities (senior pricing available), as well as providing in-home vaccinations by appointment
As a small, locally owned business, not a part of a big corporation, our DVMs will recommend only the vaccinations and services that are best for the breed, age and lifestyle of your pet - not unnecessary services that cost you money.
There is no additional fee to see your pet for our services. Vaccinations are administered in your presence. Your FREE consultation with the veterinarian is a significant savings and very important to the future well being of your pet.
History
The original Shots For Pets began in 1981 and eventually expanded to build all the ABC Veterinary Hospitals in Southern California, which were all sold in 2008. Since that time, Shots For Pets has evolved into an expanded, low cost vaccination clinic which now offers a broader range of services, such as testing for heartworms, lyme, other tickborne diseases, as well as fecal testing for giardia and parasites.
The vaccines and flea/tick preventatives, as well as our other services are the same as can be found in the finest veterinary hospitals for vaccinations, de-worming, fecal testing and more, without the higher cost. Our D.V.M.s are knowledgeable, personable and compassionate. There is no fee to consult with them. We charge only for the services we provide.
So...the years have passed since Shots For Pets began. The members of our staff who are still on board from years past are excited to see the children and grandchildren of our customers from years ago, grown up and coming to us with their pets.
